We support farmers through best-in-class training and techniques to ensure the future of the natural rubber industry. We provide ongoing farm advisory assistance, farm supplies, materials at cost, and other support to the rubber industry.
To help revitalize the natural rubber industry, we provided 5.6 million free natural rubber stumps (planting material) to 2,100 farmers. This assistance, estimated at USD $2 million, resulted in the replanting of approximately 25,000 acres of rubber trees by private farmers.
We regularly organize technical training for partner farmers, covering scientific tapping methods, rubber tree maintenance, and pest identification and control. Through training, farmers' tapping efficiency has increased by an average of over 30%, with significant improvements in latex yield and quality.
We also help farmers establish cooperative organizations to enhance their bargaining power in the market, ensuring they receive fair and reasonable income from rubber cultivation.
